For long weekends & longer naps.
Spacious king-bed cottages with a sitting area, large windows opening onto the lawn, and the kind of quiet you forget exists in the city.
Chafa — Marathi for the plumeria — is a boutique eco-stay and multi-cuisine restaurant built for slow weekends, unhurried meals, and gatherings that linger long after dessert.
Chafa is freshly open under new ownership — a property reborn on the quiet stretch of road between Nashik and Trimbakeshwar. The land is the same. The trees, including a generous plumeria standing watch in the courtyard, are the same. Almost everything else has changed.
The new Chafa is built around a small idea: that a weekend should feel longer than it actually is. Seven rooms. One kitchen. A pool. A bar under a sloping thatch roof. Enough lawn for the evening to spread out, and few enough guests that nobody is in your way.
Everything you need for a quiet getaway — and nothing you don't. The property is intentionally intimate, so each space gets the attention it deserves.
Three Suites and four Deluxe rooms set around the garden — air-conditioned, en-suite, and quiet.
Indian, Chinese and Continental — open to staying guests and visitors. Served on the verandah, by the pool, or in the lawn.
An understated bar under a sloping thatched roof. Long pours, slow conversations, and an early-evening kind of light.
A clean, sunlit pool with a poolside projector for cinema-under-the-stars on weekend nights.
Space enough for a long brunch, a small ceremony, or a few children running circles while you settle in.
On the quiet road to Trimbakeshwar — close enough to be easy, far enough to feel away.
Three Suites and four Deluxe Rooms. The whole property comfortably sleeps a single extended family or a small group of friends — without the noise of a larger resort.
Spacious king-bed cottages with a sitting area, large windows opening onto the lawn, and the kind of quiet you forget exists in the city.
Calm, well-appointed rooms with king beds, fast Wi-Fi, AC, and en-suite bathrooms. Built for guests who want a clean canvas and a good night's sleep.
Open to staying guests and visitors alike. A working kitchen and a stocked bar — designed for people who treat a meal as the main event of the evening.
An Indian, Chinese and Continental menu cooked to order. Eat on the open verandah, by the poolside, or pulled up to a table on the lawn — wherever the evening takes you.
Beer on draft, spirits worth taking your time over, and cocktails built around what the kitchen has fresh. Evenings here tend to begin in daylight and end well past it.
Made for smaller days
Chafa is built for the kind of celebration that doesn't need a stage — birthdays, reunions, intimate engagements, corporate dinners. We do small days well.
A walk around Chafa — pool, lawns, verandahs, the bar under thatch, evenings outside under the projector.
